Ecomondo 2010. Faccia da riciclo is a report and an anthropological study that delves into the idea of recycling. Of how it takes place in practice on an everyday basis. Faccia da riciclo is a story made up of faces and voices recorded directly in the field; a video installation with an expanding memory that has been updated by everyone who had his 'speaking' portrait taken while visiting the Fiori Group stand. Thank you all for sharing this idea, making us feel part of a wider horizon, made of relations, stories, people.

Faccia da riciclo, the book (12mb) -
"Recycling, re-use, restoration of value, memory, roots... These are attitudes and behaviours rooted in our company culture. And yet they tend not to be recognised and remain overshadowed by day-to-day consumption and the fast pace of life. These “voices” collected and recorded in August 2010 at the Scuola Elementare di Scrittura Emiliana primary school near our plant, are intended to testify to how recycling, in the broadest sense of the word, is practised all the time. Our hope is that the ideas put forward in these recordings and writings, in which recycling lives in our dreams, wishes, thoughts and memories, will be transferred to our material behaviour."
