Gruppo Fiori continues its visual exploration journey of corporate and industrial reality with Humans. Resources., the second photography book created in collaboration with photographer Giulio Ielardi.
After The Iron Age, which highlighted material resources, this new volume shifts the focus to the human resources that bring the organization to life.
The photographs were taken with a thermal camera, a technical choice that transfigures the human figure and represents the essence of the subject beyond the typical portrait canon.
If the first book narrated the modern mine made of waste and survivors of productivity, ready to reduce, reuse, and recycle, Humans. Resources. focuses on people and tells the relationship between material elements and human abilities to use them.
When it comes to the circular economy, human will is crucial: if the will does not become a project, the resource remains waste.
