Environmental Policy
The working philosophy of the companies in the Gruppo Fiori has always been to combine economic development with the protection of the environment and workers, while ensuring the satisfaction of clients and, more generally, stakeholders.
This commitment was formalized more than 15 years ago in the Group’s Policy documents, which we wish to share outside our organization as well.

Environmental Declarations
The Gruppo Fiori considers the creation of a constructive relationship with the Authorities and the surrounding territory to be fundamental, based on transparency, understanding, acceptance, and mutual trust, especially regarding environmental issues.
In 2021, Italmetalli and Italferro obtained EMAS registration under EC Regulation No. 1221/2009, an achievement of environmental excellence, even more remarkable considering they were the first two metal scrap shredding and sorting plants in Italy to receive this recognition and, respectively, the second and third in Europe.
The Environmental Declaration, updated annually, communicates to clients, employees, and all interested parties the information related to the performance and environmental impacts of the activities carried out and those related to projects for the continuous improvement of these aspects.
